Introduction

Welcome to MatchPoint. By accessing or using the MatchPoint application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. MatchPoint is an AI-powered dating conversation training platform. All conversations are simulated using artificial intelligence — no real people are on the other side. These terms govern your use of the platform, your token balance, and your interactions with AI personas.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use MatchPoint. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to request verification of your age at any time and to terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.

Account Terms

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access. Each account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

Token Economy

MatchPoint uses a token-based economy. Tokens are consumed when you send messages during practice matches. Token purchases are final and non-refundable. Tokens do not expire and have no cash value. Free tokens earned through referrals, daily bonuses, or promotions are subject to the same terms. We reserve the right to adjust token pricing and consumption rates with reasonable notice.

AI Disclosure

All personas in MatchPoint are powered by artificial intelligence. No real humans participate in practice conversations. Persona profiles, responses, and behaviors are generated by AI models. While personas simulate realistic dating conversation dynamics, they are not real people and do not represent actual individuals. Any resemblance to real persons is coincidental.

Content Guidelines

While MatchPoint personas are AI-powered, we expect users to engage respectfully. Conversations are analyzed for training purposes. Explicitly harmful, threatening, or illegal content is prohibited and may result in account termination. Our system evaluates messages against communication axioms — this is for your benefit, not censorship. We do not share your conversation content with third parties.

Limitation of Liability

MatchPoint is a practice and training platform. We make no guarantees about real-world dating outcomes. The skills and feedback provided are educational in nature. MatchPoint is not a substitute for professional relationship counseling. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on your training experience. Use the insights gained responsibly and at your own discretion.

Termination

You may close your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, unused tokens are forfeited and not refundable. We will retain anonymized, aggregated data for platform improvement but will delete your personal information within 30 days of account closure.
